I thought it’d be cool to give the musically-inclined among you a fun little remix contest to partake in!
The theme of this contest will be the music of mine featured in SIGIL, a new episode for the original Doom, recently released by one of its original creators, John Romero. If you need a primer on what SIGIL is, I have a video for you:
The winner of the contest is going to get a $100 cash prize and I will also host their entry on my YouTube channel.
So without further ado, I would love to hear YOUR take on one of the following 3 SIGIL pieces. They are:
Pick one of these songs, download the MIDI file, and go to town on it. Interpret it however you want. Change stuff around like instruments/tempo, whatever. Record new stuff on top of it like proper electric guitars, vocals, kazoo, whatever it happens to be. I will be awarding points for creativity, I would actually rather see some remixes that completely take the track in a new direction.
