I’ve done it again!

This is the fifth installment of my 30in30 series – a challenge I set myself to create 30 MIDI tracks in 30 days. The theme of this release was “recovery” – I took drafts of songs that had been sitting dormant in my WIP folder for far too long – some of which dating back to 2009 – and applied my modern sensibilities to give them the help across the finish line that I believed they deserve.

One track was at least started per day, with January 31st being my buffer day in case I missed a day or needed extra time to work on an entry or two. Some time was then spent in February listening back to the tracks and fixing any issues that stood out. I’m very happy with the result! This isn’t a challenge I’ve engaged in since 2016’s 30in30-4, so this release is a long time coming.

You can tune into the video premiere here on YouTube, which will kick off tomorrow at 2pm, or download the album on BandCamp. As always, the album comes with the original MIDIs!
